Carrie Nadler Healy not only offers her clients and associates professionalism and business expertise, but as a result of her deep roots in both Chicago and the North Shore, she also offers clients a unique perspective of these communities.
Carrie Nadler Healy has been serving families and their real estate needs since she joined Jean Wright Real Estate in 1993. Since then she has been a multimillion dollar producer and assisted more than 100 families with buying and selling their homes. Carrie places a premium on professionalism and education and knows she can always learn something new every day. She backs up her conviction in continuing education by earning both the real estate Salesperson and Broker’s licenses. In addition she has earned the following designations: GRI (Graduate of the Realtor® Institute), CRS (Certified Residential Specialist), ePro, and the ABR (Accredited Buyer’s Representative)
Carrie is a member of the National Association of Realtors®, Illinois Association of Realtors®, and the North Shore Barrington Association of Realtors®. Carrie believes in the philosophy espoused by Theodore Roosevelt that: "Every man owes a part of his time and money to the business or industry in which he is engaged. No man has a moral right to withhold his support from an organization that is striving to improve conditions within his sphere." To that end she serves on the Technology Committee and the Professional Standards Committee for the North Shore Barrington Association of Realtors®. Carrie is also a member of the Women’s Council of Realtors® and is Program Chair and President Elect for 2006.
Carrie is a fourth-generation resident of Winnetka, where she currently resides with her husband and two children. She was raised in downtown Chicago and attended The Latin School of Chicago. Carrie is an active civic leader, devoting her energy, knowledge and time to many community organizations. She served as President for The Auxiliary Board of the Art Institute of Chicago and the Outreach Council for the Field Museum of Natural History. She is also a member of The Woman’s Board of Northwestern Memorial Hospital, The Winnetka Garden Club, the Christ Church Pastoral Care Committee, and is a past member of the Winnetka Public Schools Foundation. Carrie’s outside interests and hobbies include: reading, hunting, fishing, and singing in the church choir. Carrie is a big baseball fan and enjoys attending many sporting events.
Prior to a career in real estate, Carrie worked in the field of market research, doing market research and consulting for Market Facts. There she conducted research for institutional and industrial firms such as: Scott Paper, The Potash Institute, The U. S. Department of Transportation – the Maritime Institute, and G.D. Searle. She also ran the Market Research Department for Recycled Paper Products. Carrie earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Smith College and an MBA from the University of Wisconsin in Madison with a double major in marketing and finance. This background, in both marketing and finance, is a perfect combination for real estate allowing Carrie to maximize her marketing efforts and be on the cutting edge of technology, as well as providing an understanding of the financing options available to buyers.
