Marina Burman began her real estate carreer as an appraiser in 1983, working along side her step-father, a commercial and residential real estate appraiser. She quickly established herself as an expert in residential property valuations throughout the Chicagoland area and since 1987 she has operated a successful real estate appraisal firm.
In 2000, she decided to become a licensed sales agent and offer her vast expertise to her clients. Since obtaining her sales license, she has consistently been a multi-million dollar producer. Her success is attributed to her broad range of experience, specifically, her knowledge of property values, construction quality, financing and marketing strategies. In addition, Marina is committed to working closely with her clients assuring that all aspects of the buying and selling process is handled in a smooth and professional manner. Her positive attitude and calm demeanor has proven to be an asset when negotiating.
Marina is a member of the North Shore Board of Realtors, the National Association of Realtors, the Appraisal Institute, and the Illinois Coalition of Appraisal Professionals. She is a Cum Laude graduate of Loyola University in Chicago.
A Chicago area native, Marina, her husband and three children have lived on the North Shore for more than seventeen years. She is very active in her children’s lives and the organizations with which they are involved, including soccer, baseball, lacrosse, poms, and boy scouts. Marina also volunteers in her children’s school and participates in various fundraisers. She served on the Design Committee for the construction of Attea Middle School in the Glen, working along side District 34 administrators, the architectural firm and the construction company. She is dedicated to her family and community as well as helping her clients to achieve their real estate goals.
